Our morning started in the middle of the night at a road closure, cut off from our original location. Trying to still beat the sunrise, we quickly switched locations, backtracked on the road and made it to Barrier Lake with just enough time to get the absolutely stunning sunrise.

Derek & Light were literally the most amazing with everything that this morning brought. Late September really brought the cold front that morning & they full embraced it (and each other), kept warm with lots of blanket breaks & were so carefree and in love. 

Reading love letters while the sun rises at a stunning lake in the mountains?? Sounds like a dream morning to me!
